SUMMARY:Once Upon a Lake Art Display at PCA
DESCRIPTION:Portage has provided the backdrop for the Rebholz family since Jacob arrived from Germany in 1853. Swan Lake became our family gathering spot in 1955 when Gladys and Harold Rebholz purchased the Red Cottage. Annual summers together in the Red Cottage and later the Green Cottage at Swan Lake renewed our spirits and offered the luxury of time and beauty that inspired Gladys\, Warren\, and Karen Rebholz to create art. In this three generation retrospective\, we exhibit paintings and carvings and tell the stories of how what we created reflects our lake life.
