My husband and I moved to Wyocena\, WI eleven years ago. After I retired \, an artist friend introduced me to watercolor painting at a local workshop. Though I was prepared to fail\, I was surprised and excited as I watched ultramarine blue pigment flow down the wet paper\, and I was hooked when I added the alizarin crimson\, creating a lovely wash of blue\, pink and purple! For the last six years I have taken classes from both Madison College and art websites\, and subscribe to many favorite artist sites on YouTube. Over 50 art books later\, and having experimented with a variety of mediums\, I attempt landscapes\, florals\, animals\, portraits\, and just play. I may paint in traditional detail to very 'loose'\, and anything in between. I am currently showing at M&M Coffee Shop in Waunakee\, the Mercantile in Portage and Two Hearts Gift Shop in Pardeeville.
