SUMMARY:Portage CrossFit Cooperative Memorial Day Murph WOD & Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:We invite EVERYONE to join our fun-filled community event Monday\, May 30th for CrossFit's traditional Memorial Day WOD in honor of Navy Lieutenant Michael Patrick Murphy\, 29\, of Patchogue\, N.Y.\, who was killed in Afghanistan June 28th\, 2005. You can do all or part of the workout. Partner up and do it as a team of 2-3 if you want!! Drop ins are very welcome!\n\n\n\nTIME: Doors will open at 7:30AM to start warming up. Heats will begin at 8AM\n\n\n\nFamily and friends are welcome and encouraged to participate or cheer!! Please sign up here to let our coaches and your friends know you're coming.\n\n\n\nDONATIONS: We ask PCC members to make a free will donation supporting the City of Portage Police Department's K-9 Program in memory of K-9\, Ares\, who passed away unexpectedly in March. Proceeds will help fund a new K-9 officer\, training and equipment. All drop in fees will go toward this fundraiser!\n\n\n\nPOTLUCK: Following the "Murph" WOD\, PCC would like to invite all members\, drop ins\, family and friends to a potluck. Be sure to BYOB\, a dish to pass\, a folding chair\, and your family and friends!\n\n\n\nOur heartfelt gratitude to all of the men and women past and present who serve and sacrifice so that we may continue to enjoy our freedom.
