We all know that networking is important. After all, it’s not what you know it’s who you know, that is the secret of professional success right? Wrong! In this program Jacqui Sakowski will explode this myth and share with you the single biggest reason to network!
Jacqui Sakowski has built a network of contacts that enrich her life; personally and professionally. She is renowned for her “networking” abilities. In this presentation she will share insights into the networking strategies and techniques that have enabled her to build an international client base; lobby congress and parliament; meet her favorite rock stars; and build a diverse and fascinating social circle!

Biography
Jacqui Sakowski is President of Sakowski Consulting, LLC. Her sales career began in 1981, selling power tools for Black & Decker, as one of only six women in a sales force of 120 representatives. Since then she has built a successful sales and sales management career that has spanned five continents.
When business brought her to Wisconsin in 1998, Jacqui met her husband Robert, and later that year relocated to South Central Wisconsin. After conducting a comprehensive market study, she launched Sakowski Consulting, LLC in 2001 to bring her skills and experience to businesses in North America. As a coach, trainer and speaker she delivers customized programs to individuals and groups to help them improve their sales effectiveness, and to build their highest value business relationships.
She speaks regularly at conferences and conventions around the region and the country. The second edition of her book, The HEART of Selling, was published in February 2008. Jacqui writes sales advice columns for the Capital Region Business Journal, CUNA Mutual Group and Isthmus Publishing. She serves on the Board of TEMPO, Co-Chairs the Social Media Committee and serves on a variety of other committees at Rotary Club of Madison; and Co-Chair’s the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s 2011 Man & Woman of The Year Capital City campaign, with Mark Meloy, President & CEO of our First Business Bank in Madison. She became a very proud American Citizen in March 2005.
