The Holiday Train stops in Portage to raise cash and awareness for hunger relief efforts and includes a special appearance by Santa!
A brightly decorated train will be traveling across the U.S. in support of local food banks. The Holiday Train program allows employees, customers and communities to come together to help people in need.
Each year, thousands of people gather along Canadian Pacific Railway’s route to enjoy the arrival of a brightly decorated train and watch a live holiday concert.
The train is decked out in thousands of lights, with wonderful colors. Boxcars contain a stage with live entertainers who ride along on the train that put on an outdoor music concert for all of you.
All proceeds and donations collected at the stop will go to the local food pantries in Portage which benefit our area residents. You are asked to bring nonperishable food items for the pantry.
