Children's Theatre Workshop Registration

The Zona Gale Young People's Theater at the Portage Center for the Arts is now taking registrations for its 2011 Children's Theater Workshop "Tales Through Time." The workshop runs Monday - Friday, July 11th-29th, (one and a half hour per day) with performances on July 29th, 30th, and 31st. Those who attend the workshop are invited to join the PCA in marching in the Portage 4th of July Parade on July 2. The workshop is open to ages 8-13. Children will work with one of four directors to create a short play. The exercises are intended to develop poise, voice, confidence, movement, and understanding of characters played.
