John Nichols—Keynote Speaker at the Jefferson-Jackson Dinner
You have probably seen him on TV, heard him on radio, or read his newspaper columns, blogs, or books. Now you can see Wisconsin native John Nichols in person at the Columbia County Democrats’ annual Jefferson-Jackson fundraising dinner at the Northern Edge in Lodi on March 16. An associate editor of The Capital Times, he is the author of several books on politics and the media. He also writes about electoral politics and public policy for The Nation magazine, and is a contributing writer for The Progressive and In These Times. His articles have appeared in The Guardian in London, The New York Times, and Chicago Tribune. Senators Jon Erpenbach and Mark Miller and Representative Fred Clark will also be speaking. "I'm looking forward to the Jefferson Jackson dinner, and am delighted to bring the Democratic activists of Columbia County together with leaders in our state. Rarely do we get the opportunity to hang out and chat with folks like John Nichols, Assemblyman Clark, and Senators Miller and Erpenbach in such a relaxed and congenial manner," says Margo Miller, Chair of the Democratic Party of Columbia County. The event is open to the public and everyone is welcome; the cost is $35 per person if paid by March 9. After March 9 the cost is $50 so please reserve your spot and pay early.
