The International Crane Foundation is celebrating our annual Cranes of the World Festival on Saturday, August 6, 2016 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Throughout the day there will be special activities, including guided tours and talks, arts and crafts in memory of Rochelle Robkin, and an appearance by “Hope” the Whooping Crane mascot. Lunch will be for sale by the Friends of Muraviovka Park, a non-profit group in support of crane conservation in Far Eastern Russia. Finally, don’t miss David Stokes, sponsored by Bischof Construction, LLC, who will return again this year with live animals, silly songs, stories, and fun. Bring the whole family to experience our live crane exhibits, take a walk on our trails through restored prairie, wetlands, and oak savanna, and browse our unique crane-themed gift shop.
