Thousands of mail-order homes were built between 1906 and 1940, using plans designed by companies such as Sears, Gordon Van Tyne, and Aladdin. Architectural historian Judy Eulberg will kick off this year's National Preservation Month on Tuesday, May 3, at 7 p.m., with her illustrated talk on these "Mail-Ordered Houses." Refreshments will be served after the talk.
