Medication Collection & Child Safety
The Portage Police Dept, Triad and Walgreens will be hosting a medication collection day. Bring your expired or unused prescriptions to the Walgreens Store on May 1st from 8am to noon. All unused medication whether prescription or over the counter will be collected and properly destroyed.
McGruff the Crime Dog will be on site and all kids can have their picture taken and make a free Child ID kit complete with finger prints and a picture of the child.
Culver’s will also pass out free scoopie coupons for all the children and there will be a coloring contest.
