Monthly competition & exhibit - September 2012 through May 2013

Check out the theme for the month and take a photo or write a poem inspired by the theme and submit it in the competition.

• Entries are due on the 1^st of each month. 
• One entry per person per month - may submit one poem and one photo
• Photos may be black & white or color.  There are no age limitations.
• All entries (photos & poems) must be submitted in a mat (not framed) and mats should be no larger than 11" x 14" but prefer 8 1/2" x 11".
• Additionally, if possible, email photo and/or poem to office for publicity purposes. 
• All entries become property of Portage Center for the Arts, Inc.
• Vote anytime during the month (give us a day or two to hang the exhibit).
• Winners will be determined by popular vote.
• Anyone can vote.  $1 per vote.
• Winner gets 50% of vote income - PCA receives 50%.
• Two winners each month - one photo and one poem.
• Entries can be picked up at end of each month.
• Winning entries may be picked up after June 1, 2013.
• Contact info must be on the back of your entry; name, mailing address, telephone number, email address & title of piece.

December Theme – “Comfort Food”

January Theme – “Little Rascals”

February Theme – “These are a few of my favorite things”

March Theme – “Real Life Super Heroes”

April Theme – “Stormy Weather”
