Portage Ice Age Trail Hike

Let’s celebrate one of the newest Ice Age Trail Communities, Portage! We will hike the easy-level, one-way, 3.6-mile Portage Canal segment and enjoy the delightful city, the newly-opened canal, and some beautiful woods ending near the Indian Agency House.

 

Event Details:

Saturday August 12, 2023 from 9:00 a.m to 11:00 a.m.

We will meet at the Portage Canal parking area on highway 33 and shuttle ourselves to our hike start at Pauquette Park.

You will need a state park sticker. Pets and children requiring car seats although valued, are not recommended due to shuttling in private vehicles.
