Topic: Becoming Better Supervisors and Leaders
We are very pleased to announce that Jack Harkins, Founder of the Harkins Leadership Development Corp. has agreed to come back to be our guest speaker in December. If you've ever heard Jack speak you will know that his presentations are entertaining and insightful from a humble perspective. He has spent the better part of 30 years leading and training leaders in environments like ours. He will talk with us about simple things we can all implement to become better supervisors and leaders. Please come and bring your supervisors. You will not be disappointed.
We will talk about:
- How to get our employees to do what we expect from them.
- How to deal with negative behavior and bad attitudes.
- What our "A" players really want and how to keep them.
- Why we have "C" player and how to deal with them.
- How to get more out of our people and our organization with the right structure and discipline.
- Some simple ways to dramatically improve communication.
-Red Pepper Turkey Wrap: Turkey, pepper jack cheese, sprouts, red peppers and guacamole rolled in a spinach tortilla. Served with homemade potato chippers, pickles and a cookie
-Winter Pear Salad: Mixed greens topped with blue cheese crumbles, toasted walnuts, sliced pears, craisins and a grilled chicken breast served with a side of our Mango Chardonnay Vinaigrette with a cookie.
-Jerk Pork Sandwich: Monk's own pulled pork on a Kaiser bun with lettuce, jerk sauce and mango salsa. Served with chippers, pickles and a cookie.
