Sorghum Fest 2011
See sorghum processed from field to mill to jar. Sorghum Processing begins at 8am. Inside the Center “All U Can Eat” Pancake Breakfast featuring Potato and Buttermilk Pancakes, Sausage, Applesauce & Beverage starting at 7:30am -10:30am. Outside Farm/Flea/Fabulous Finds Open Air Market at 8am-3pm. Inside & Outside “Lost Art Exhibits” ~ Two Civil War Artillery Groups will be camped & demonstrating artillery of this era. On display and fired throughout the day will be two era cannons ~Dodge County Antique Power Club Displays ~Sorghum Cook-Off ~ Starting at 10:45am “A Taste Under The Oaks” with area Eating Establishments serving up their specialties ~ Homemade Pies & Ice Cream Booth ~ The Soggy Prairie Boys will be performing on the deck noon-3pm ~ Bingo ~ with assistance from Fall River VFW Post 2219 inside Center starting at noon ~ Oaks Beverage Booth ~ 50/50 Raffles ~ Sorghum Recipes ~ $500 Cash Raffle Drawings & Fundraiser Auction at 3pm ~ Jars of sorghum will be available.
