by the Writer’s Of The Portage and friends, on the lovely museum sunporch once graced by Zona Gale during the years she lived and wrote in her former home.

Zona Gale home (1906-1928) listed on National Register of Historic Places. Free guided tours. Pie and ice cream on shaded lawn along Wisconsin River. Minimal charge.
