There is a 5k walk/run\, a neon paint party\, other kids' activities as well as a Poker Run hosted by Harley Davidson of Madison\," said Susan Hjelsand\, Director at American Diabetes Association-Wisconsin. \n\nIt's FUN to be ACTIVE! \n\n"Ho-Chunk is doing what we need everyone to start doing thinking of being active as being a fun\, family activity! The healthier our communities become the more successful\, productive and better off all of us will be!" \n\nDiabetes affects nearly everyone or someone they love. The toll diabetes takes on a community is impactful. Over 500\,000 people in Wisconsin have diabetes\, and $1 of every 5 healthcare dollars is spent on diabetes. "People living with diabetes need our support and understanding.
