Fair officially opens on Wednesday but there are events scheduled on Monday and Tuesday. Columbia County Fairgrounds at Veterans' Memorial Field in Portage There is no gate fee nor parking fee. Admission is charged for the grandstand events. The carnival charges for rides, etc.
