The Portage Community School District will mark the start of an exciting new academic year with back-to-back groundbreakings and a district-wide celebration on Thursday, August 21st.. The festivities begin at 2:30 p.m. with the groundbreaking ceremony for the middle school addition at 2505 New Pinery Road, Portage, WI, followed by a 3:30 p.m. ceremony at the high school for the new pool and gym, 301 E. Collins Street in Portage.
The day will conclude with a festive Back to School Celebration at 4 p.m. on the district softball fields. Plus, feel free to stick around and enjoy the first home varsity football game of the season at 7 p.m.
