For the 20th anniversary, the Charter members fare presenting stories from the acclaimed author Zona Gale (the first female to win the Pulitzer Prize for Drama). These are stories about a small American town in the beginning of the last century that speak of the “sodality” of women, of community, democracy and of a group that has been together for many years in good times and bad—not unlike the Word for Word Performing Arts Company.
Portage is lucky to have four members of Word for Word here on Thursday, April 11. Members of the troupe are Sheila Balter, Jeri Lynn Cohen, Delia Mac Dougall, and Patti Silver. They will be performing at 7PM at the Museum at the Portage, 804 MacFarlane Road. A social hour and refreshments will follow.
