Youth Summer Program Mentor

Rewarding job!!

Develops respectful relationships with young people during the Youth Summer camp. Services include fun and recreational activities, which allow the mentor to model and promote healthy relationships, teach appropriate coping strategies and build trusting connections with peers and adults. THIS POSITION DOES HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO LEAD TO YEAR-ROUND PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT!

• $16.00/hour
• Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
• Approximately 8am - 3pm
• No work on holidays

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/LICENSES:

1. High School Diploma
2. An Associate’s degree in some form of behavioral and/or criminal science or related field is preferred.
3. Maintain a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record, and an insured, reliable personal vehicle to use in providing services is required.
4. Pass an extensive annual background and drivers check.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

1. At least one year of related experience preferred.
